The Water Resources Graduate Program – Professional Master's Degree (PPRH), linked to the Institute of Geosciences (IG) of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), started its operation in 2015, works towards the qualification of human resources in the area of water resources and their environmental context. The structuring of the Program entails a new format, whose main objective is to assist professionals who seek to increase their technical qualifications through a dynamic system, facilitated by the "Blocks Course" system. In this systematic, it is available, in relatively short time intervals in Belém-PA: 1 - Two weeks, opportunities for the intensive development of theoretical and practical activities in the academic environment of the University, Two to three times each semester.
The Program uses, within the legal limit supported by the Law of Guidelines and Bases of Education (LDB), in a complementary way, e-learning, based on the experience successfully tested and approved, over more than ten years, in the Program of Specialization Courses in Distance Modality of the IG / UFPA. Identified in the context of Information and Communication Technologies (TICs), modernly called Interactive Learning Technologies (TIAs), the Professional Master in Water Resources draws on this experience to make its teaching-learning process even more efficient.
